4 Most Common Relationship BS (Blind Sides)

1. I am not good enough – this one can be tricky. It can hide so deep within you that you might not even know it’s lurking around your dating life / relationships. It might keep you from dating all together OR it might keep you in a relationship when you know it’s not right. 

2. I need to please others – where my people pleasers at? This BS goes out to you my friend! Sometimes you might feel that you have to take care of someone else first. But then you completely forget to focus on you. The truth is…you need to take care of YOU first in order to fully show up for someone else. 

3. I don’t want to get hurt – you have a pulse therefor you have feelings. When you hold back out of fear then you’re saying no to connection. By holding on to the illusion of “control” you prevent yourself from not only feeling hurt but feeling love.

4. It has to be perfect – there is no such thing as perfection. It’s about progress. You will mess up because you’re human. Your date or partner will also mess up because they’re human. When you create expectations for yourself or another person then you’re opening the door for resentment.
