3 Ways Spirituality Stops Fear

Got spirituality? I was not a spiritual person for the longest time. I knew there was something greater but I had a hard time releasing control.  Let’s just say I was an inner control freak.

Once I found my spirituality it was a serious game changer in my love life.  Whether it be my love-life, career, finances, moving across the country, etc. I was able to find serenity and happiness regardless of what I was going through.  I’m not throwing BS (blind sides) at you either. My mind stopped spinning in circles with fear and anxiety. No one size fits all.

If you struggle with spirituality you are not alone and it’s totally normal. I’ve been there and completely resisted it before.  So let me ask you this, do remember a shitty time in your life? And thought, how can I get through this?  And then you did. Somehow in between the thoughts of, “Am I ever going to get through this?” And, “Holy shit I got through it.” 

Something made it happen.  That something is what I call spirituality. Use that trust as leverage that whatever life issue you’re going through today you’ll absolutely get through. I see it work its magic with my clients so I know it will work for you.


3 Ways Spirituality Stops Fear:

1. Mantra: Life makes us question, “Am I on the right path?”  or “Will this ever work out?” To ease the worry incorporate a mantra connected to spirituality. Example: I am worthy of (XYZ) and the universe will guide me.

2. Allow yourself to release: Journaling is a healthy way to connect within and spiritually. Write out any obstacles that are blocking you from moving forward. Then, physically release it. Example: After journaling, rip the piece of paper up to let go of old thoughts.

3. Connecting with your gut: Follow your damn gut. Meditation or a hike is a great way to get quiet and connect.

Example: During meditation allow thoughts to come with no judgment.
